July 1 is the 9th anniversary of Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre. You’re invited to a building-wide bash to celebrate this milestone! Explore Canada’s musical mosaic through new exhibitions, enjoy live performances, and participate in hands-on activities for the whole family. Admission is free on Canada Day thanks to the generous support of ATB Financial.
Canada Day at Studio Bell will feature live performances by six-piece Afro-fusion band Melafrique, R&B singer-songwriter Kate Stevens, and more to be announced soon.
After exploring Studio Bell, step into the historic King Eddy next door for even more live music. The Eddy will open at 11 am with free, all-ages performances on the main floor and the rooftop patio, Ollee will be taking the stage at 7 pm with other artists playing throughout the day – Meadowsweet, Dean Lauderdale, Brother Bicker Band, Jake Mathews, and Liz Christensen.
