With 40,000+ lights strung across the Atlas Coal Mine Historic Site 12 acres; it’s quite the sight. The Badlands’ dark skies and brilliant stars form a dramatic backdrop for this holiday light show.
Start at the Atlas Coal Mine to enjoy seasonal treats, kids activities, Santa Claus, train rides, and music while you admire thousands of lights strung throughout site. Then warm up at the East Coulee School Museum across the river! The School will dazzle you by candlelight. Enjoy kids crafts, festive treats, and live music from Ollee Owens.
Cost: $12.50/senior 65+, $15/adult, $12.50/ages 3-17, kids 2 and under are free.
Admission includes all activities. Free parking at both locations.
Please dress warmly and note that pets are not permitted at the event. Expect uneven, snow covered paths throughout the Atlas site.
